Ice Climbing Norway
Ice Climbing Week
An ice axe swinging, crampon kicking sort of a week! With walk-ins to routes ranging from as little as roadside, there won't be much in the way of walking. However, fret none, what you'll miss out on in walking for hours to get to a scottish route with questionable conditions, you'll make up for in sinking your axes and crampons into sticky toffee ice again and again! What's there to question? We take a week in this beautiful scandinavian country, to climb each day bar one rest day, to give you chance to sharpen your picks for the next few days, carve your way around the local ski slope in search of Norwegian powder or just rest in the local spa. Flying out on Sunday and returning the following Sunday affords us 6 days. If this highly addictive, pleasure seeking is your sort of thing, drop us a line and we will send you further information regarding accommodation, transport, and so on. We base this course in either of the Norwegian Ice Climbing capitals, Rjukan or Hemsedal, depending on the best conditions. Our course fee includes instruction only. Accommodation will be shared and self catering, on a group cook ethic. In addition to sharing accommodation, we also share car hire, which averages about £100 each. Upon booking you will receive full course notes and an inclusive kit list. |
