Paddlesport Leader Trainings and Assessments
The British Canoeing Paddlesport Leader Award is for paddlers wishing to take on formal leadership responsibilities for their club, their workplace or other organisation in sheltered water environments. The award aims to support Paddlesport Leaders to run good quality, safe, enjoyable trips based on the needs and aspirations of their group.
Paddlesport Leader courses.
For the experienced paddler looking to gain an award to begin their leadership career. Suitable for leading friends, club paddlers and clients on sheltered water conditions of lakes and rivers, with the group paddling a multitude of craft. British Canoeing's pathway allows the paddler to enter direct to an assessment or gain formal or informal training followed by an assessment, whichever suits their developmental needs. We run all three courses in either integrated form or split, leaving you to choose when to train and when to complete the assessment. We run these courses in Wales, England, Scotland, Europe and further afield if requested, such as the US and Asia. Training: £180 per person
